Hello! My name is Natalie Schneider, and I am the founder of Ladybug Lane Veggies. I started this 1/4 acre farm because I love growing food and sharing it with the people around me. I recently finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Agriculture, which has deepened my appreciation for Earth-friendly farming practices. For me, Ladybug Lane Veggies is about bringing fresh and healthy food to my community of Krugerville and North Texas and connecting us to the land.
What is Earth-friendly Farming?
Earth-friendly farming means farming in a way that leaves the Earth better than we found it. Unfortunately, modern day conventional agriculture has left devastating effects on our planet, including mass species extinction, habitat loss, and damaging pollution. I believe that it is my duty as a farmer to practice techniques that protect the Earth, including natural pest control methods, no-tillage, and the principles of Agroecology.
